The Partially Solved Death of

J.F.K.
Lillian Eversole

November 22, 1963

After breakfast in Fort Worth, our 35th President of the United States and his first
lady boarded a plane and flew to Dallas, where the president was scheduled to speak at a
luncheon (jfklibrary.org). At around 12:30, the 61 lincoln continental turned off of main
street onto a street filled with people hoping to see the president. The car drove with the
top down and the president waved adoringly to the surrounding people; then, to much
surprise and dismay, shots were fired, striking and killing the beloved president. His wife
Jackie, grabbed at her husbands wounds in disbelief, hoping he would be ok. Her blood
soaked clothes were never washed. About 90 minutes after the incident, Lee Harvey
Oswald was arrested for killing a police officer and president John F. Kennedy. Another 9
minutes later Lyndon B. Johnson was sworn in as president.

Warren Commission and Conspiracy Theories

After President Kennedys assassination the
Warren Commission, named after the United
States Chief of Justice Earl Warren, was set up
to solve the Presidents murder
(jfklibrary.org).
The commission found self-proclaimed Marxist
Lee Harvey Oswald guilty for the presidents
murder; however, before he could be put in
prison, a local nightclub owner, Jack Ruby,
shot Oswald. Oswald then died at the same
hospital President Kennedy was pronounced
dead in (50 Facts You May Not Know About
the JFK Assassination).

President Kennedys assassination has many

conspiracy theories surrounding it; some seem quite
possible, many seem outlandish and borderline
insane. However, the majority of Americans agree
there was something off about the whole ordeal,
especially because it was solved in such a short
period of time.
Popular theories:
1. Soviets
2. Single-Bullet Theory
3. Lyndon B. Johnson
4. CIA

The Mafia
According to the abc News article, The Top 5 John F. Kennedy Assassination Conspiracy
Theories there are a few pieces of evidence which built this theory
1. Supposedly, John Kennedy may have botched the Bay of Pigs invasion; this ended
the possibility of organized crime between the United States and Cuba, which would
have angered them
2. The mafia might have hoped that by killing J.F.K., his younger brother, Robert
Kennedy, who the mafia disagreed with, might have lost influence

Lee Harvey Oswald

A few theories surrounding J.F.K.s assassination involve Oswald; such as, the single
bullet theory or Oswalds possible involvement with the soviets.
According to the article Fact file: 10 unusual facts about JFKs assassination, prior to
J.F.Ks death, Oswald spent 3 years in Russia. He even sought soviet citizenship
before he decided to return the the United States, only a year before the beloved
presidents death.
Another possibility is that Lee Harvey Oswald simply acted alone that day in 1963;
which seemed to be the conclusion of the Warren Commission, which was put in
place to solve J.F.Ks murder

Lyndon B. Johnson
The Top 5 John F. Kennedy Assassination Conspiracy Theories also describes the
possibility that J.F.K.s vice president killed him to gain the presidency. According to the
article, Johnson may have gotten help from the CIA and wealthy tycoons who believed
they would have received/accomplished more under his administration. Another theory
suggested a CIA official who was in Dallas November 22, 1963, may have helped Johnson
commit the heinous deed. This official also later became president, George H.W. Bush.

So Who Did It?

My theory
Its hard to know for certain, but the likely culprit is definately Lee Harvey
Oswald. In my opinion, the incriminating evidence is how Oswald denounced
American citizenship, lived in Russia for 3 years, and then returned just a year
before the assassination, only to get a job at the very same place the president,
then police officer J.D Tippitt, would lose their lives.
The possibly conspiracy theories that could coincide with Oswalds plot for
assassination, however, are endless. Most possible theories stress Oswald was
hired to kill the president. Another possible theory is the single-bullet theory, which
says the bullet that entered John Kennedys neck may have also hit the man in the
passenger seat of the vehicle.
