and hence have been clubbed and answered together. Regarding the term
heritage, Local Heritage, Documented, not documented, Age / changes. etc.

Heritage is the thing which is transmitted from generation to generation, and is

constantly recreated by communities and groups, in response to their environment, their
interaction with nature, their history etc. It provides people with a sense of identity and
continuity, and promotes respect for cultural diversity and human creativity. Local
heritage is a part of it and can be considered for documentation. The site Selected
should be justified by the participants as Heritage
Regarding the Selection of Site/ Structures the brief aims to document maximum
structures which are present in the country and yet are not known, or are not under the
light. Hence it is encouraged that the structures which have not been documented should
be taken up.
The changes in the structure can be fairly recent, as raised in the query. And no bar on
age of the structure, but as mentioned earlier the selection of the site/ structure should
be justified.

Selection of Sheets for Presentation, Text, Font etc.

The sheets can be opaque. If the participants are using opaque sheets, then it should be
submitted along with a backing sheets.

Regarding The text in sheets, it needs to be handwritten. The text should be clear,
legible and grammatically correct. The participants can print the format of the sheet if
they wish to.

Adaptive reuse with minimum interventions. Maximum part of the structure should be
retained. However new use can be introduced which suits the context with value
addition, minimum intervention and should be beneficial for the society.

Accessibility

Selected site/ structure should be accessible for documentation and for USERS and general
use in the future in the case of remote location.

ORNAMENTATION

Ornamentation of the structure will not be the only criteria for assessment however if the
ornamentation is necessary to establish the heritage criteria, it will be looked at.
