Conclusion

The Tyco International scandal gives the business world an overview of what
could happen if too much power is put in the hands of an individual. The actions
taken by each firm could be hard to watch over, thus, there were lots of
unauthorized funds that came out of the business which Kozlowski used for his own
personal purposes.
This should serve as a lesson to others that greed will not lead to anything
good and if they think that it would never be discovered there are always loopholes
that could reveal the acts. Nevertheless, a business should maintain a good
corporate culture and have an individual monitor the actions to avoid fraudulent
acts and managers should be screened and practiced to work at their best and
avoid self-priority and practice equal and fair treatment to each and every one of
his/her employees.
Proverbs 28:20 The faithful man will prosper with blessings, but whoever
is in a hurry to get rich will not escape punishment. Just like what happened
to the directors and staffs of Tyco who get the earnings and funds of the company
for their own interests, they were brought to jail. Those who believe in God, and do
god acts will prosper while those who do evil will be punished.
Timothy 6:10 For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil. Some
people, in their eagerness to get rich, have wandered away from the faith
and pierced themselves with much pain. The love of money encourages
cruelty, callousness, neglect and shameful indulgence. People get involved in things
they never dreamed they would do, all in the name of power, or greed, or pleasure.
This creates disaster in your life and life of others. Those people who are eager to
be rich lost the center of their life, the very purpose of living, forgetting the God
who is behind all things. The love of money drives us away from the faith.
