Subject: An appeal to upgrade my service to MANAGER
I have been in service of house of Namdhari Seeds Private Ltd Company for the last five
years and seven months. I passed my B.Sc. (Botany) securing First class and further
completed M.Sc. botany course. I had work experience even before I joined the company
in agriculture for about thirteen years that include experiences with Indo-American
Hybrid seeds. My total service is 18years &7 months. In spite of my qualification and
work experience I was offered the post of seed analyst in QC lab (ISTA Accredited Lab
15-May-2005) which I accepted with a hope that I would be entrusted with a grade that
would totally bring out the best in me.
Currently I have been working as a seed analyst in ISTA lab (QC). My responsibilities
are doing evaluation of flower &vegetable crops and seed sampling of our company
and other companies like Beejo Sheethal seeds,Jalna (Maharashtra), Safal Seed
Biotech (Maharashtra), Malva Seeds (MP), Clause Seeds, Durga Seeds (Chandigarh)
and other companies. For the last 5 years I have brought many samples and issued ISTA
orange certificates that yield profit for the company as you would know. I had been out of
state for seed sampling yearly about 12 to 14 times. For every round trip it took about 4
to 5 days. Initially I was filled with added enthusiasm and new dynamism under the cooperation of Mrs.Reshma and Mr. V.V. Reddy. They would confirm my views in plaudit.
In view of the above facts and upon consideration of my request to offer me atleast the
grade Managerwhich is commensurate with my apt qualifications and experience
which will trigger my enthusiasm and propel my spirits towards the company and
towards greater heights.
In addition to the above I would like to bring to your notice that I am getting salary below

par in which I cant maintain my family and I cant save for future. Hence, I appeal to
your honor to offer me compensation according to qualification, work experience and
caliber.
Sir, with no complaints I am capable of discharging more challenging duties and
responsibilities and I sincerely request that you will appreciate my hopes and aspirations.
