Overview

Students will create a Quizlet list for their words this week and will have
to do at least 2 of each activity throughout the week.

Objectives

Students will show an understanding of the definition of this weeks

vocabulary words by creating a Quizlet card set that includes pictures to
help them remember the definitions.
Students will use Quizlet to memorize and work with the words in order
to pass the Vocabulary test on Monday of next week.

1)
Introduce the Vocabulary by going over the list. 10 mins
2)
Have the students create a Quizlet card set that includes
the definition and a picture to help them remember the word.

3)
If the students finish, have them begin to work with the
words using Quizlet activities. They must do at least two of each
activity by the time of the test on Monday. They can do their set or
another from the class. Rest of Class
4)
Students may compete to get the highest score. Whoever
gets the highest score in each activity by the beginning of class on
Thursday will get to choose a book for First Chapter Friday.
ELL students can come to me for help with words or to one of the
Spanish teachers
IEP students can come to me and I will work something out.
