Lesson Evaluation Procedures:

Writing homework for this weekends:
1. Write a short reflection on the
defining an issue activity. (no more
than 6 sentences.)
2. Opinion based paper
Answer the following question:
Do you think city life is better than
country life? Do you agree or
disagree?

Materials:
Power Point
Worksheet 1- lyric
Worksheet 2- Listening
Anticipated Problems & Suggested Solutions:
Problem : Ss may have difficulty think of some situation when they need to describe and
issue to someone.
Solution: T can try to elicit the information by providing a situation. For example, if you
did online shopping, what are the common issue that we might face with?

Post-Lesson Reflections:
Reflection 1: In the first listening activity, I played the same listening for three times,
however, it might be a result in decreasing their motivation. For the future class, I should
only play twice. First listening activity can be designed to challenge students listening to
the whole lyrics by themselves. Then I can ask students to share the keys before the
second listening activity. For the second listening activity, I can play and stop after the
each paragraph to check the answers in class. In this way, students wont be discouraged
listening to the same song for three times.
Reflection 2: In the dialog activity, it was interested in observing students creatively and
unique ideas that they included in the dialog. During this activity, I was able to assess
their current speaking skills as well as to evaluate their critical thinking skills. This
observation helped me designing for the next class. Since I asked students to send the
recordings after the class, I had an enough time to evaluate their dialog and speech at
home. Listening to their recordings was able to elicit some problematic issues on
grammar and pronunciation, which was a great opportunity for me to scaffold some
common errors made by the students.
