Race and Law

In this essay I will be talking about race and things that involve with the law. Racism
involves things like skin color, language, customs, place of birth or any factor that supposedly
reveals the basic nature of that person. Law is a different story. I think that the people should do
something about racism and law.
Racism is a terrible thing. One important feature of racism, especially toward Blacks
and immigrant groups, is clear in attitudes regarding slaves and slavery. I do not like how white
people can treat the black people so badly. I understand that their skin color is different or that
they speak differently. They are also human. All of these arguments are based on black people
being slaves; in fact, contemporary scientists are not agreed on whether race is a valid way to
classify people. People judge each other based on their appearance or what they they do in life.
Its just like when that white man killed nine people in the historic church in Charleston, South
Carolina. The only reason he killed those people is because they were praying. I think racism is
irrelevant.
I also think that the people should do something about the law, because we have cops that
are not following the laws. They are beating on people for no reason and killing people for no
reason. I really think that the people should stand up and protect their rights. I also believe that

the people need to do something about police brutality. I do not understand why police officers
are killing people for no reason. Its just like when that police officer from Florida killed a man
after leaving a gig. I do not know what really happened but he probably did not do anything
wrong. Killing him was unnecessary. The officer should have just talked to him.
I believe that the families of all the victims and the other people should stand up and do
something about police brutality and racism. I believe since this generation knows a lot about
what is going on in the world, we can make a difference. A wise friend told me The past is
history, the present is the past, and the future is now. I really believe that we can make a
difference.
