Professional Experience

Conducted Empirical research experience in my College 1 honors class

Current Research
My college 1 honors research group and I conduced an empirical research study. The purpose
of this study is to see if Caucasian and ethnic minorities differ in their perspective of their
quality of education. Limitations in the results was a lack of representation of the community
college student demographic. Our study addresses the community college student demographic
and their high school experience. Our hypothesis for this study is that minority students will
vary in their response in whether or not they feel their education was helped or hindered in
high school as a result of them being an ethnic minority yet Caucasians will feel that they
were neither helped or hindered because of their race. Results showed that ethnic minorities are
more likely to feel that their quality of education is lacking compared to the quality of
education of Caucasians. Therefore, it is crucial that our public schooling systems address this
issue by making efforts to equalize all public schools experience across the nation.
Teaching Experience
