- The classes I have taken at UALR have greatly impacted my chose of becoming a STEM
teacher. The UALRTeach program has opened my eyes to the fun and engaging world of
STEM education and how I can be a key member in changing students lives for years to
come.

Personal Interest:
I have a very strong interest in integrating Project Based Learning/ Inquiry based
education into classrooms, so that, students can get relevant, hands-on activities and knowledge
that they will remember and implement for their lives and maybe their careers years later. On
top of that, I am very heavily nature oriented. If I can find a way to maybe take the kids out of
the classroom, or, create a soothing natural environment for the students, I would love to do
that as a STEM Biology teacher.
