themselves and others and could have legal consequences.
Students will understand that there are certain rules of society
that users need to be aware of in an ethical society. These laws
apply to anyone who works or plays online.
Students will understand that they are responsible for their
intended and unintended actions.

Lesson Outline
1. In advance, contact your school resource officer and
invite him/her to come out and speak about cyberbullying
and the legal implications that could arise.
2. As the SRO presents, have students complete the 3-2-1
viewing guide
3. At the end of the presentation, invite students to ask
some of the questions they recorded on their 3-2-1 chart.

Reflective Component
Students will write a blog post that informs others of the legal
implications of cyberbullying.
