Imam Aliasws and Hussainasws Introduce Themselvesasws for their
Shias1

Ibn Abbas narrates from holy Prophetsaww said: “When I visited skies, I saw it was
written on the doors of Heaven that there is no god but Allah azwj and
Mohammadsaww is His Prophetsaww and Aliasws is Wali2 of Allahazwj and Hassanasws
and Hussainasws are sons of Prophet and Fatimaasws is ‘Sifaatullah’3, whosoever
rejected themasws or antagonise themasws, they will have Allahazwj ‘s ‘Lanat’ on him.

Ibn Abbas then said: One day holy Prophetsaww was sitting and Amir-ul-
Momineenasws was also present with himsaww, Imam Hussainasws came there,
Prophetsaww took himasws in his lap; and kissed hisasws forehead and lips; at that
time his age was not more than 6 years; Aliasws said “O Prophetasws! Do yousaww
love so much my son?”
Prophetsaww said: “How can I not love himasws when heasws is a part of me”

Imam Alisaww said: “Do yousaww have more affection for measws or Hussainasws?”

Imam Hussainasws replied “Fatherasws who is better in ‘Nasab’ (lineage) and

therefore ‘Sharaf’, he will be more beloved (to my grandfathersaww), and elevated
in status.”

Reflection of Attributes of Allahazwj, Veil of Allahazwj
Imam Aliasws said: “Should we describe ourasws attributes (so that others may
learn).”

Imam Hussainasws said: “Yes, please, lets do that.”

Mola Aliasws said: “O Hussainasws! I am Amir-ul-Momineenasws, the tongue of the

Truthful, the helper of Mustafasaww, the treasurer of the Knowledge of Allahazwj,
the chosen one in Hisazwj creation, the guide of the people of earlier times to
heavens, the one who paid the debts of holy Prophetsaww, Hamzaas is my uncle
who lives in the Paradise, Jafaras is my brother who flies with angels in the
Paradise, Iasws am the Judge appointed by the Prophetsaww, Iasws am Hisazwj Right
Hand, Iasws am the one who took Surat-ul-Baraat by the order of Allahazwj to
people of Mecca, Iasws am the one who was chosen by Allah in Hisazwj creation.
Iasws am that strong rope regarding which Allahazwj Says (3:103): Hold on to the
‘al-Urwatul Wuthqa’. Iasws am the shining Star of Allahazwj, Iasws am the one whom
Angels come for ‘Ziarat’4. Iasws am the Tongue of Allahazwj. Iasws am His ‘Hujjat’5
over his people, Iasws am Hisazwj Strong Hand. Iasws am Hisazwj Face in the skies.
Iasws am Hisazwj ‘Shining Side’ (reflection). Iasws am the one regarding whom
Allahazwj Says (21:27): “They are the respected people who do not step ahead of
Him and always follow His orders.” Iasws am that handhold which will not break,
Allah is all Listening and all Knowing.

I am the door to Allahazwj from which one should gain an entry. I am Hisazwj
Knowledge which leads to ‘Sirat’ the Just path.

Iasws am the ‘Baitullah’ (house of Allahazwj), whosoever entered into, had found
refuge. And whosoever got hold of my Wilayat and love he is safe from Hellfire.
Iasws am the oneasws who killed oath breakers of ‘Jamal’, cruel of ‘Sifeen, and
deserters of religion the ‘Kharajis’. Iasws am killer of ‘kuffar’, Father of orphans,
guardian of widows. Iasws am the one whose Wilayat will be asked on the day of
Judgement. And (about me) Allahazwj said (102:8): “You will be asked regarding

blessings.” And Iasws am that blessing which has been given to people. I am the
one regarding whom Allahazwj Says (5:3): “I perfected Deen on this day and
completed My Blessings, and Iazwj have selected Islam as a religion for you”.

So who would love measws, will be a Muslim, and such a Momin’s religion will be
perfect. I am the one, through whom you gain guidance. And Allahazwj Says
(37:24), regarding my enemies “stop them, they have to be asked. I asws am the
great news by which Allahazwj Perfected Hisazwj religion on the day of ‘Ghadeer’
and I am that great ‘khaiber’,

Iasws am the one regarding whom Prophetsaww said: “Whosoever I am ‘Mola’6 of,
Aliasws is his Mola.”

Iasws am the Prayer of a Momin, Iasws am ‘HAYA ALA SALAT’ (through

me is the guidance); Iasws am HAYA ALAL FALAH (through me
is the salvation), Iasws am HAYA ALA KHAIR IL AMAL (through
me deeds are made perfect),
Iasws am the one for the enemies of whom Allahazwj Says (70:1-2): “A
questioner asked for such punishment which was to happen,
and which cannot be stopped”. The ‘Kafirs’ are meant (in the
above Verse) who reject my Wilayat like Noman bin Harith al
Yahoodi, may the curse of Allahazwj be on him.
Iasws will call people to the pond, and no one else will call momins; I asws am the
father of ‘Tahir Aimmah (Pure and Infallible Guides); Iasws am the evaluator of
deeds on the day of Judgement; I am the ‘Yasoob-ud-deen’ 7, Iasws am the one
who is leader of Momineen who are on just; Iasws offer forgiveness on behalf of
Allahazwj; myasws companions will be my friends on that day as they parted away
from my enemies, they will not be scared at the time of death, and they will not

be worried; and they will not be punished in their graves; they will be martyrs and
truthful on the Day, and will be happy;

Iasws am the one whose shias took oath that they will not be friend with enemies
of Allahazwj and His Prophetsaww and will not have friendly relations with them even
if they are their parents or sons. Iasws am the one whose shias will enter Paradise
without being judged; Iasws am the one who has his shias name written in a
(Divine) file;

Iasws am the helper of Momins, and will do their ‘Shafaat’ (intercession) in the
Court of Allahazwj.

Iasws am the one who hit with two swords and two lancers; Iasws am the one who
killed Kafirs in ‘Badar’ and ‘Hunain;; Iasws am the one who killed famous Kafirs in
‘Uhud’; Iasws am the one who killed Amr bin Abdawad in ‘Ihzaab’; Iasws am the one
who killed ‘Amr and Marhab’, Iasws am the one who killed brave men of ‘Khaiber’.

Iasws am the one regarding whom Angel Gabriel says: “There is no warrior like
Aliasws and there is no sword like Zulfiqar.”

Iasws am the one who conquered Mecca; Iasws am the one who destroyed (idols)
‘laat and aza’; and destroyed their glory; Iasws vanished ‘habal and manat’; Iasws
am the one who destroyed idols while standing on the shoulders of Prophetsaww;
Iasws am the one who destroyed ‘yaghooth, yaooq and nasr’ (idols); I am the one
who killed kafirs for the sake of Allahazwj;

Iasws am the one who gave ring to the beggar; Iasws am the one who slept on the
bed of Prophetsaww in order to save his life from (attack of) mushriks;

Iasws am the one from whom ‘jins’ are scared; Iasws am the one who paved the way
so that Allahazwj is worshipped; Iasws am the translator of Allahazwj’s Revelation;
and mirror of Hisazwj Knowledge.
Iasws am the one who killed fighters in (battles of) ‘Sifeen and Jamal’; I am the
allocator of the Heaven and the Hell. At that time Aliasws stopped (got quiet).

Holy Prophetsaww told Imam Hussainasws “O Hussainasws! Did you hear what your
father said? What he counted is 1/10th of tenth part of his attributes ‘fadial’; surely
he is elevated than this.

Imam Hussainasws said:

“All glories are for Allahazwj who gave some Momineen preference over all
creation; and chose our grand fathersaww for the revelation of holy Quran, and its
explanation, and speaking to Gabriel; and made usasws from amongst the chosen
ones, and gave usasws preference and raised above all creation”. Then Imam
Hussainasws said: “O Amir-ul-Momineenasws! Whatever youasws said is all very
correct.”

Prophetsaww then said: “O Hussainasws! Now tell usasws about yourselfasws”

Imam Hussainasws said: “O fatherasws! I am son of Ali bin abi Talibasws, I m son of
Syeda tun Nisa Fatima Zahraasws, I am grand son of Mohammad Mustafasaww who
is the chief of the children of Adamas and there is no doubt in that; O Aliasws! My
mother is greater than yours near Allahazwj and all people; and my grand
fathersaww is greater than yours near Allahazwj and all people, Iasws am the one
whose cradle was moved by angel Gabriel, and angel Israfeel came for my
Ziarat; “O Aliasws! Youasws are greater than me near Allahazwj, and Iasws take pride
over you in terms of my ancestors”

Then Hussainasws stood up and hug his fatherasws and kissed himasws; and Imam
Aliasws took himasws near his chest, and kissed himasws; and said: “O Abu abd
Allahasws! May Allahazwj increase your virtues, pride, knowledge, ‘hilm’, and may
Allahazwj curse those who will be cruel to you.”

‫حديث مفاخرة علي بن أبي طالب ع مع ولده الحسين ع‬
‫قال حدثنا سليمان بن مهران قال حدثنا جابر عن مجاهد قال حدثنا عبد ال بن عباس قال حدثنا رسول ال قال لما‬
‫عرج بي إلى السماء رأيت على باب الجنة مكتوبا ل إله إل ال محمد رسول ال علي ولي ال و الحسن و الحسين‬
‫سبطا رسول ال و فاطمة الزهراء صفوة ال و على ناكرهم و باغضهم لعنة ال تعالى قيل إن رسول ال ص كان‬
‫جالسا ذات يوم و عنده المام علي بن أبي طالب ع إذ دخل الحسين بن علي فأخذه النبي ع و أجلسه في حجره و قبل‬
‫بين عينيه و قبل شفتيه و كان للحسين ع ست سنين فقال علي ع يا رسول ال أ تحب ولدي الحسين قال النبي ص و‬
‫كيف ل أحبه و هو عضو من أعضائي فقال علي ع يا رسول ال أيما أحب إليك أنا أم الحسين فقال الحسين يا أبتي من‬
‫كان أعلى شرفا كان أحب إلى النبي ص و أقرب إليه منزلة قال علي ع لولده أ تفاخرني يا حسين قال نعم يا أبتاه إن‬
‫شئت فقال له المام علي ع يا حسين أنا أمير المؤمنين أنا لسان الصادقين أنا وزير المصطفى أنا خازن علم ال و‬
‫مختاره من خلقه أنا قائد السابقين إلى الجنة أنا قاضي الدين عن رسول ال ص أنا الذي عمه سيد في الجنة أنا الذي‬
‫أخوه جعفر الطيار في الجنة عند الملئكة أنا قاضي الرسول أنا آخذ له باليمين أنا حامل سورة التنزيل إلى أهل مكة‬
‫بأمر ال تعالى أنا الذي اختارني ال تعالى من خلقه أنا حبل ال المتين الذي أمر ال تعالى خلقه أن يعصموا به في قوله‬
‫جِميعًا أنا نجم ال الزاهر أنا الذي تزوره ملئكة السماوات أنا لسان ال الناطق أنا حجة ال‬

‫رسول ال ص في من كنت موله فعلي موله أنا صلة المؤمن أنا حي على الصلة أنا حي على الفلح أنا حي على‬

‫خير العمل أنا الذي نزل على أعدائي َ‬
‫النعمان بن الحارث اليهودي لعنه ال تعالى أنا داعي النام إلى الحوض فهل داعي المؤمنين غيري أنا أبو الئمة‬
 ‫الطاهرين من ولدي أنا ميزان القسط ليوم القيامة أنا يعسوب الدين أنا قائد المؤمنين إلى الخيرات و الغفران إلى ربي‬
‫أنا الذي أصحاب يوم القيامة من أوليائي المبرءون من أعدائي و عند الموت ل يخافون و ل يحزنون و في قبورهم ل‬
‫يعذبون و هم الشهداء و الصديقون و عند ربهم يفرحون أنا الذي شيعتي متوثقون أن ل يوادوا من حاد ال و رسوله و‬
‫لو كانوا آباءهم أو أبناءهم أنا الذي شيعتي يدخلون الجنة بغير حساب أنا الذي عندي ديوان الشيعة بأسمائهم أنا عون‬
‫المؤمنين و شفيع لهم عند رب العالمين أنا الضارب بالسيفين أنا الطاعن بالرمحين أنا قاتل الكافرين يوم بدر و حنين‬
‫أنا مردي الكماة يوم أحد أنا ضارب ابن عبد ود لعنه ال تعالى يوم الحزاب أنا قاتل عمرو و مرحب أنا قاتل فرسان‬
‫خيبر أنا الذي قال في المين جبرئيل ع ل سيف إل ذو الفقار و ل فتى إل علي أنا صاحب فتح مكة أنا كاسر اللت و‬
‫العزى أنا الهادم هبل العلى و مناة الثالثة الخرى أنا علوت على كتف النبي ص و كسرت الصنام أنا الذي كسرت‬
‫يغوث و يعوق و نسرا أنا الذي قاتلت الكافرين في سبيل ال أنا الذي تصدق الخاتم أنا الذي نمت على فراش النبي ص‬
‫و وقيته بنفسي من المشركين أنا الذي يخاف الجن من بأسي أنا الذي به يعبد ال أنا ترجمان ال أنا علم ال أنا عيبة علم‬
‫رسول ال ص أنا قاتل أهل الجمل و صفين بعد رسول ال أنا قسيم الجنة و النار فعندها سكت علي ع فقال النبي ص‬
‫للحسين ع أ سمعت يا أبا عبد ال ما قاله أبوك و هو عشر عشير معشار ما قاله من فضائله و من ألف ألف فضيلة و‬
‫هو فوق ذلك أعلى فقال الحسين ع الحمد ل الذي فضلنا على كثير من عباده المؤمنين و على جميع المخلوقين و خص‬
‫جدنا بالتنزيل و التأويل و الصدق و مناجاة المين جبرئيل ع و جعلنا خيار من اصطفاه الجليل و رفعنا على الخلق‬
‫أجمعين ثم قال الحسين ع أما ما ذكرت يا أمير المؤمنين فأنت فيه صادق أمين فقال النبي ص اذكر أنت يا ولدي‬
‫فضائلك فقال الحسين ع يا أبت أنا الحسين بن علي بن أبي طالب ع و أمي فاطمة الزهراء سيدة نساء العالمين و جدي‬
‫محمد المصطفى ص سيد بني آدم أجمعين ل ريب فيه يا علي أمي أفضل من أمك عند ال و عند الناس أجمعين و‬
‫جدي خير من جدك و أفضل عند ال و عند الناس أجمعين و أنا في المهد ناغاني جبرئيل و تلقاني إسرافيل يا علي‬
‫أنت عند ال تعالى أفضل مني و أنا أفخر منك بالباء و المهات و الجداد قال ثم إن الحسين ع اعتنق أباه و جعل‬
‫يقبله و أقبل علي ع يقبل ولده الحسين و هو يقول زادك ال تعالى شرفا و فخرا و علما و حلما و لعن ال تعالى‬
‫ظالميك يا أبا عبد ال ثم رجع الحسين ع إلى النبي ص و هذا وجدناه مكتوبا على التمام و الكمال و نستغفر ال من‬
‫الزيادة و النقصان و نعوذ بال من سخط الرحمن‬
