Instructions:
It will be paired activity. One student will say the sentence such as, I can sleep,
and her partner will put the clothespin on the correct picture. Moreover, she will
say the sentence.
They will continue working until finishing all pictures.
How it will help both students and teacher?
Students:
Motivate them to learn because it combines fun and learning.
Capacity to distinguish between the actions.
Identify the words and try to use them in their life.
Teacher:
Assess her students
Notice her students mistakes and improve their learning.

Independent Experience (small group activity 1)


Solve the puzzle. ( Low Level)
Materials:
Prepare different puzzles ,such as, clap, cut, eat, sleep and sit puzzles.
Instructions:
Students will solve the puzzles by ordering the number from 1 to 6. This activity
integrates math and English as well.
After solving the puzzle, they will have different pictures ,for example, clap, cut, eat,
sleep, walk, sit, stand and kick.
When they will finish solving the puzzle they will name the pictures and said I
can.
Why I choose this for low level?
Low level students faced problem in reading the words and creating sentences.
So, this activity will support them because they will have one word in each puzzle.
After solving the puzzle they will be able to create sentences such as, I can kick.

Independent Experience(small group activity 2)


Listen and act. (Medium level).
Materials:
Picture cards of actions
Instructions:
It will be paired activity, one of them will choose the picture card ,for example,
she will choose the picture of the girl sleeps and say I can sleep, her partner will
act it and say I can sleep.
They will continue working until finishing all pictures.
Why I choose this for medium level?
Medium level students know the words but they need more practice and support
to be able to reach the high level.

Independent Experience(small group activity 3)


X and O .( high level)
Materials:
Each student has a paper for X and O game and cubes
Instructions:
It will be paired activity ,Each partner has a turn to select a picture and say it. For
example, Amal will choose a picture of girl sleeps and say the sentence I can
sleep. She will put a cube on this picture. Then her partner will choose a picture ,
say it and put the cube on the picture.
If they get horizontal, vertical and diagonal line , they will win.
Why I choose this activity for high level?.
High level students need challenged activity and this activity integrates math and
English.
Moreover, they are able to read words without facing any problem.
Closing
Make a short review by asking students to name the picture cards again and said I
can.
Give them a piece of paper to draw what can they do?.

Assessment
While students doing the activity I will walk around to observe their pronunciations of the words
.In addition I will ask them Oral question, such as, what can you do ? They will say I can eat.
Moreover, I will provide appropriate feedbacks for them and improve their learning.

Reflection:
What went well:
I used various techniques to help students to identify the vocabulary words such as song and story by using
puppet. After hearing the song twice, I asked them about the vocabulary words ,so, it supports their learning.
Students love the story because it was new strategy to apply it. They were engaged and act with me.
I prepared various activities that support students in listening and speaking skills.
I reinforce students who sat silently and listened. Students responded to that by being quite.
Even better if:
Reduce the opening activity and give students the activity quickly because some
students felt bored and I lose their interest.
Make sure that all students are doing the activity correctly by walking around and
molding for them.
Keep praising the quite students.
Give the resources quickly because students were waiting more time to get the
resources.

Next step in teaching and learning:


Reward the students regularly.
Use different techniques to support students learning such as, songs and story.
Walk around and monitor the students while doing the activity.
