portrayRachelasacharacter.
ElevenisastorybySandraCisneros.ItisaboutagirlnamedRachelwhoisinthefifthgrade
andturningeleven.WhenRachelturnselevenyearsold,shesaysshefeelsnodifferentto
whenshewasten.Inclass,Rachelisaccusedofowningalostandunwantedsweater.The
teacherMrs.PriceordersRacheltowearthesweater,butRachelinsistsitisnthers.Finally,
shegivesinandputsthesweateron.Withtearsstreamingdownherface,shewearsthe
unownedsweater.Aftermakingafoolofherselfinfrontoftheentireclass,anothergirl
remembersthesweaterwashers.AssoonasRachelhearsthis,shetakesoffthesweaterand
givesittoher.Mrs.PricepretendseverythingisresolvedbutRachelthinkstheopposite.
Icanrelatetothisstorybecause
