What did you learn about lifelong wellness from taking this course?

I learned that maintaining a healthy lifestyle is easy. I had never done yoga in a
class setting before. It was so much more fun than I anticipated. Also there are
many lifelong benefits that yoga can offer if helped reduce my stress and increase
my flexibility.

How has learning about and applying lifelong wellness concepts impacted
your life (home, school, work, etc.)?

I do fun yoga at home with my daughter now to try and show her that living a
healthy and active lifestyle is fun. Also during my work day I stand up and do a
few of the yoga moves that I have learned and that helps me not be so stiff
during the day. At home I do some yoga before bed to help me get a better
nights sleep.

Discuss specific lifelong wellness concepts learned in this course and how you
are going to implement them in your life?

One of the lifelong wellness concepts I took away from this course was proper
breathing. I have asthma so sometimes it seems hard for me to catch my breath all
the way. Using the yoga breathing techniques I have learned I am able to sit and
focus on my breathing. I havent had a bad asthma attack since I started this
course, I am able to breath deep and focus to head off the worst of it.
