First class. September the 24 2015.

The topics in this class where synonym of happiness, collocations and phrasal verbs.
To begin with, the teacher gives instructions to play the hokie poocky as a warmup of the
class and to practice the listening skill. The students are sit in a square shape, but due to the
hokie poocky game they stay in a circle. Then, for the next activity, the teacher tells students
to get in pairs, she shows the worksheets to work, gives the instructions to make the activity,
monitors that everyone has their couple to start work, the teacher explains that the activity
consists in find 10 different meanings of the word happy, she gaves a time limit and walks
around the class to monitor the activity, and assessing that everyone it is doing their job,
when the time limit ends, the teacher checks the students activity by asking them to share
what meaning of happiness they found (at loud), then she models some examples of the
task, several students also give some examples. In addition, the teacher dictates extra
words related to happiness. To move on to the next activity,the teacher gives the instructions
very clearly and then she uses CCQS to make sure that the students understood, this
activity now is related to phrasal verbs and collocations, the activity is modeled by the
teacher and the worksheets are given to the students. Apart from that, when latecomers
wanted to enter to the class, teacher ask them to tell a piece of new, or a joke, in this class
to students happened for this situation, their names are Juan and Mariana. As in the
previous activities the teachers monitors the students work again by checking and asking
around the class: furthermore, students feel free to ask whenever they want and the teacher
answers with very clear and kind explanations. The teacher gives the 10 minutes break and
the first class module is finish

Second class: October the first 2015.


This class is done in the computers lab located in Toms Moro.

The topic of todays class are different types of wedding ceremonies.


T greets and start the class by asking if the did the lesson plan that they had to do. T says to
students get in pairs to begin with the first activity, it is a listening where they have to take
notes. T assessors that everyone have their notebook and a pen in order to be ready to take
notes, T says the listening at loud by walking through the labs ill. T gives instructions about
the next task, which is to make a list of differences and similarities about what they heard,
the SS do the task discussing in pairs or trios, as in the previous class 3 students are late, so
they have to retell a piece of new to their students as a condition to enter to the class. T asks
to one student to read but she is short sighted so she moves to the first seat of the lab to
read properly. Now the teacher shows a text projected on the whiteboard, but this time she
advisers that everyone can read properly from the back seats. In the text a non traditional
wedding is mentioned and the students name some comparison between that wedding and
a chilean one. Then, the teacher gives instructions for the next activity; to find a completely
different ceremony (wedding) to compare it with a chilean wedding in front of the class (a
brief explanation), once again, the teacher monitors that everyone on the lab can have a
couple or trio to work with it. Students get in groups to search for the piece of information
and work and start work.

Third class october the 10 2015.

The topic of the class is personal traveling stories and experiences.

The teacher begins the class talking about travel, telling some experiences that she lived
while she traveled when she was younger. Now she asks to students to get in pairs and tell
to their classmates something funny on their trip stories,the teacher limits the time. Students
do the activity, everyone is talking and sharing their trip experiences, then everyone student
has to tell their classmates story, so to do this the teacher shows a ball; the ball must be
throw between the same classmates, the one that catches the ball has to tell the story.

Fourth class october the 15 2015.


The topic of the class is: A journey to travel for a long time.

The class begin with a test to review what they passed on the previous use of English test.
The test consists mainly on vocabulary related to journey and travel. The teacher shows on
the screen some vocabulary seen on the test, the answers are reviewed one by one, teacher
asks in pairs to look for more synonyms related to the words seen on the test. Teacher
monitors through the room the new vocabulary, checking pronunciation and spelling. To
continue with, a video is shown to the whole class, the teacher explains what the video is
going to be about; two men that are going down from a plane, each one from different sides
and they start yelling each other. The teacher gives the instructions: watch and create the
ending of that video, using the different future tenses. Students get in trios or quartets to
write the invented ending of the video. Students organize what they are going to write on
their story at loud and then they start to write. The teachers monitors if they understood the
idea to work properly on the next module.

Fifth class: October the 22 2015.


The topic of the class is: the best trip.
This class is made in Tomas Moro computer laboratory.

The class begin with the instructions given by the teacher to work in a best trip package, this
activity have to be done in trios. The teacher gives a paper to each group, they have to plan
a trip package for skiing, biking, snowboarding, etc Students work in groups from its
computers lab, while the teacher monitors doubts and the work itself. The next activity is
done by the pre teacher, she shows the video from the movie back to the future where to
men from the 80 century, predict how the future could be in 30 years more. According to the
video, students have to do 3 predictions related to the future and how they think this will be.

Sixth class; November the fifth 2015.


The teacher has urgency and she could not attend to the class, so students work in a food
presentation using adjectives to compare and describe.

Seventh class: November the twelfth 2015.


The topic of the class is to compare and describe different objects.

The teacher greets students, and gives a short worksheet where there is a list of adjectives,
with the superlative and comparative form to complete. Then, the worksheet is reviewed with
the class and the teacher explains and exemplify the different forms to use the comparative
and superlative form, in order to monitor the students comprehension she uses ccqs.

The teacher shows a cocking measure object to introduce the class exemplifying some
sentences with passive voice. The first activity is a listening with brief information about
Colombia, they have to write this information using passive voice. Now they have to
complete the same brief information such as population, typical foods, language, religion etc,
about Chile. The teachers and the pre teacher monitors the student's work, walking around
the room, listen them and making suggestions. FInally a chart with different types of pieces
of new are shown in the whiteboard, the idea of the activity given by the pre teacher is to
create different pieces of new (internacional word, gossips, animals, history, etc), taking as
an example the one provides on the whiteboard.
