the spelling patterns.
1. When you read this week, make a list of words you find that end in ing.
2. Think of verbs that you can add ing to at the end and do the action five
times (e.g., jumping jump five times)
3. Write and spell each word two more times.
4. Use each word in a sentence.

Work on Prodigy. Put a checkmark in a box for every day that you work on

FRENCH
Read and sing Ce matin dans la rue and circle the pairs of words that rhyme.
Write your own lines (the criteria for each line are: each line has to have 9
syllables, syllables 3 and 9 have to rhyme e.g., Un crayon qui conduit un
poisson.

Put a check mark in a box for every day this week that you read for 10 minutes
or more in French. After you read a story, tell someone what happened at the
beginning, the middle and the end of the story. Identify the characters, the
setting, the problem, and the solution.
