demandthatjournalistswhointerviewKrollfortheirstoriesinvolvingraceandpolicing,mustmention
thathehaspersistentlybeenaccusednotonlyofracism,butofactivelyembracingtheorganizationsof
WhiteSupremacy,suchastheKuKluxKlan,andtheirslogans,suchasWhitePower.

ToreportKrollswordsinthesecontextsisnotresponsiblejournalism,anditreinforcestheracist
violencethatlawenforcementispermittedtoinflictoncommunitiesandindividualsofcolorinthisstate.

(1) Tobreakthesilenceinthemediaregardingtheclearandpersistentloyaltiestoorganizedand
explicitWhiteSupremacistandracistidealsandorganizationsbylawenforcementofficerandPD
UnionHeadLieutenantRobertKroll.Thisshouldhavebeendonebyjournalistsandnotlefttous.
Wethereforedonotpretendtoencyclopedismtheselinksareintendedforjournaliststo
begin
thiswork,andtoletjournalistsknowthatweexpectthemtodothiswork.
(2) ToplacejournalistswhointerviewKrollonracerelatedstoriesonnotice:thecommunityofthe
TwinCitieswillnolongerstandforthecomplicityofmediawithracistpolice.Itisreasonableto

interviewtheHeadoftheLawEnforcementUniononracerelatedstories,especially,asisallto
often,theuseofviolentofficerforceoncitizensofcolor.Itisnotacceptableorreasonable,and
willnotlongerbeaccepted,thatinthosecontextsjournalistsfailtomentionKrollshistoryof
racism,orquestionwhyheispermittedtospeakforlawenforcement,orwhatthatmeansforthe
PoliceUnion.

InSeptember2002,Krollwasinvolvedinanincidentthateventuallyledtoacitypayout
