The Night Circus Part 3 Question 1 Reflection

While reading part 3 of The Night Circus, I have realized that a lot more events have
happened that follow quickly with a rising conflict. The analysis assignment for this part was to
pick 2 questions and the one that I chose to include as an original piece (question 1), asked
mostly about the main central idea of what was going on within this part and also the conflicts
that have begun or picked up again as well. For my paper and the claim of what was happening I
chose to include, Celia and Marcos evolving relationship, how, Bailey and Poppets
friendship has also grown and around the ending, and the part where Herr Fredrick Thiessen
has been mistakenly killed by Chandresh (Who was planning to aim at Mr. A. H.), leaving Celia
Bowen, one of his friends and a main character, heartbroken. Because of this and a lot more
other things, the main conflict in part 3 was how the circus was falling apart, not being the way it
used to be and if it is not saved soon, it will eventually disappear, never to come back again. I
have used a lot more textual evidence in this analysis than the ones before, stating, how and
when Thiessen dies: Chandresh kills Herr Thiessen with his knife, on Hollows Eve
(Halloween) after following him tent from tent (370-5). When Mr. A .H. is told by Marco about
his love for Celia, in which he responded with, I am sorry to hear that, It will make the
challenge a great deal more difficult for you. (308). And a lot more that support the claims for

the plot of part 3 and the conflicts. My piece connects to standards, ELAGSE9-10W4 (for how I
included a clear organization to the claim) and he reading literary standard, ELAGSE9-10RL1
(for stating textual evidence). I liked writing and finding evidence for this analysis because it is
the only one that asks to summarize the entire plot and conflict of a part. Not only does it help
me with studying for the upcoming quiz on part 2 and 3 but it also helped me a lot with the
overall understanding of the book and the events that are leading up to the climax and eventually
the ending.
