On Behalf of the Third Estate

Far too long. For far too long we have been subjected to your absolute monarchy for far too
long. The enlightenment stands in direct juxtaposition to what you stand for. As a people we have
matured, adapted, and evolved into a state of awareness that prevents us from rolling over on our
tummies and bearing the weight of the world on our shoulders for the sole benefit of the first estate.
Did I not mention that the third estate, we, the actual population of the French empire who live real
lives consisting of real toils, burdens, and problems so unlike that of your privileged selves make up
ninety eight percent of the French population. We are France.

Far too long. For far too long the third estate has sat at the wayside and watched as we
ignorantly allowed the corrupt, cruel, and selfish of the first estate hold power over us. From now on, it
is our farming, our agriculture, our shops, our libraries, our homes, our France. We slave under the heat
of the morning and day sun, we work into the night, we lose sleep, we dont attain food with ease. We
also dont consume food with ease as too much of is devoted to filling the fat bellies of King Louis and
the rest of cabinet, parliament, and other members of the first estate. The first estate are nothing but
lying, cheating scoundrels who are devoted to tearing down the constructs of what made France great.
France was never meant to be overcome by a bun of rumbling tumbling bumbling fools who pay more
attention to their pocket books than to the welfare of their country. This horrid, abominable behavior
sends shivers down my spine, pains in my heart, and nausea to my stomach. I cant go to sleep another
night without despising myself and the rest of my kith and kin, friends, commoners, and ancestry for
allowing such horrid people to rule our once great country and allow for the recent events under their
rule to occur.

The time is now waiting solves no issue, quarrel, or injustice. The privilege of the first estate
must be eradicated and France must return to equal treatment for all. The monarchs and radicals will
never agree, but one thing that can, must, and will be agreed upon is the fair treatment of all of Frances
citizens. Why do we live in a society where the top two percent live luxuriously while the rest of us, the
ones who actually matter, the ones who actually make difference, the ninety eight percent that counts
are left to scramble for the first estates leftovers. Thomas Hobbess idea of a social contract is
understandable and plausible. However, when a country as recently corrupt as my formerly beloved
France has gone to such great lengths to dispel its rightful citizens to the simplest of human rights that
man can hold of life, liberty, and property for the benefit of and to serve the very few leaves me with
the only sensible though in my brain. I will not only not sign this social contract. I will rip it and burn it.
I will remain loyal to my brothers and sisters of the third estate and we will see ourselves to victory.
Victory that will conclude in calling for just times, a government that does not punish the driving aspect
for potential of making this country great, and a country worth calling home.
