teachers handle an incident of school bullying, School
psychology international, Vol. 32 (no. 3), 312-329.
This article connects to my semester topic, bullying, because it
projects societys views on bullying even in countries like South Korea
where bullying is known to be the norm. Through this article we get to
analyze South Korean teachers reactions to a hypothetical bullying
situation. Through an online questionnaire we get to evaluate a
teachers stand and characteristics on bullying. America and South
Koreas bullying implications are compared to see who is more likely to
get involved if a student is being bullied. In conclusion this article
shows us that South Korea still has a lot to learn on how to protect
students from being victimized.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_5WRpYmInQ4
This video connects to my semester topic, bullying, because it shows
us another aspect of bullying and its effects. The video focuses on a
girl who could be described as a tomboy and a young girl who love
foods. This video conveys to us that through peer pressure we will do
anything even if it hurts someone elses feelings to fit in. The effects
of bullying can somewhat lead to a dangerous path of suicide and this
video conveys to us that sometimes someone else sticking up for us
can change our mentality and rescue us from our own misery. The
conclusion is to stand up for whats right before its to late.
Karhunen, J., Lagerspetz, K., Salmivalli, C. (1996). How do the victims
respond to bullying? Aggressive Behavior, Vol. 22 (no.2), 99-109
This article connects to my semester topic, bullying, because it
expresses a victims mindset to confronting bullying. This article
confronts the questions of a victim becoming a bully itself? Or Standing
up for itself? The study evaluated how bullying was handled by a girl or
boy. It separated their responses into three categories:
Counteraggression, helpless, or nonchalant. Each subject had different
reactions, but ultimately boys showed to be more violent while girls
hide into obscurity. The conclusion to this article is that a persons
action can either be perceived as good or bad depending on the
outcome.

movement. [YouTube] Available from

This video connects to my semester topic, bullying, because it shows
the world the truth people try to ignore. Bullying is very serious and
dangerous we cannot just overlook it. This video follows the lives of 5
teenagers who have experienced bullying. Their fear of going to school
everyday and being harassed repeatedly. The actions some of them
take to try and stop their abusers from a gun to suicide. The
consequences some victims face because they become the bad guys
rather than the victims. The ignorance teachers fake when dealing with
parents or societys scrutiny. The conclusion to this video is dont
overlook what is happening right in front of, but lend a helping hand to
help someone be heard.
Nassem, E., Harris, A. (2015). Why do children bully? School leadership
today, Vol. 6 (no.5), 68-73.
This article connects to my semester topic, bullying, because this lays
out the details of why victims are chosen. This articles starts off with
Elizabeth giving you a glimpse to her bullying experience and how she
later became more acquainted with bullying through a more
knowledgeable way and decided to show people the seriousness of
bullying. She breaks down each method of bullying to help people
understand that every option no matter how trifle it might seem has
consequences. She explains what she has learned about bullies
through books and her real life experience with them. She showcases
the unintentional and intentional forms a teacher can lend a bully a
hand. Methods of stopping bullying are explained in this article
involving everyone from students to the faculty. How to deal with
victims and bullies are also expressed in hope of ending the abuse and
lend a help to those in need. The conclusion to this article is that there
is always an answer to stopping bullying, but we must first understand
the reason it begins.

llied_and_beautiful?language=en

This video connects to my semester topic, bullying, because this shows

us how our bullies cut us down and unintentionally society lends them
a hand by not listening to us. A poet known as Shane Koyczan
expresses to us his pain and the pain people experience on a daily
basis. The confusion victims experience within themselves because
people ask them question like What do you want to be when you
grow up? when they dont even know who theyre right at that
moment. The things we give up just so that we can have friendship.
That silly old saying Names will never hurt me, that is exactly what
hurt the most. The conclusion is that society should listen before
coming up with its own assumptions.

This video connects to my semester topic, bullying, because this shows
us how technology has casted a mask on our attackers known as
anonymous and allowed bullies to become even more empowered.

falling in love with her boss the president of America. Her connection
to a boy named Tyler who had been cyber bullied for being intimate
with another man. The effects technology has had in opening the door
to a person personal life and heightened the cruelty of humanity. How
we can same victims online and offline. The conclusions to this video is
that through exaggerated truths and opinions a persons life can be
ruined so we need to learn to think twice before we comment.
