It is with pleasure that I write this letter of recommendation for Jordan Maurice.
Jordan has been an employee with the Great After-School Place since May 2013. He
has worked under my supervision for the last five months as support staff. During his
time at G.A.P., Jordan has been responsible for a variety of duties including,
implementing lesson plans, communicating with parents, preparing the site each day,
and ensuring the overall safety and well being of the children in our care.
Throughout his experience with our program, I have witnessed the professional
growth that Jordan has achieved. He has a caring and fun personality which makes
the staff and children feel comfortable interacting with him. Jordan always reports to
work on time and gives timely notice of any absences. It is evident that he has a
passion for working with children.
When working with a large group of children, it is very important for the staff to
have positive group management skills. Jordan is very capable of leading both small
and large groups. He is always actively engaged with the children whether it is out on
the playground, playing in the gym, or playing board games with the children. Jordan
would be a great asset to any program or classroom.
At this time, I do not see any areas that would prohibit Jordan from working with
