Assessment: Create a 2-minute video as if you are a reporter today and address the
people of Salem during the Salem Witch Trials. Explain the events that are taking place
with a modern approach. Think about how the events that took place in Salem would be
looked at today, including the way the girls acted while they were bewitched.

Assessment: Create an 8-slide Prezi presentation as if you are Beowulf on how to defeat
Grendel. Based on the stories that you have heard about him, think of what his
weaknesses may be. Plan out the type of weapons and armor that you would need to
defeat Grendel as well. Use up to three kennings in the presentation as well to describe
Grendel and yourself (Beowulf).
You will receive up to 25 points each for the following: completion of 8 slides, context,
creativity, and use of at least three kennings.
