Suitable for:
AWS Certified Welding Inspectors who wish to gain the Certification Scheme
for Welding and Inspection Personnel (CSWIP 3.1) welding inspector
qualification.

Available exam dates : May 1, 9, 15, 24, 2010 at 8:30AM
Above fees include:
Examination, with coffee & soft drinks
Successful candidates: A certificate of proficiency and badge will be
issued to the candidate and the sponsoring organization or individual
paying the fees.
Unsuccessful candidates: A standard results notice is issued to all
candidates and their sponsoring organization. If applicable it will indicate
those parts of the examination in which success has not been achieved.
Candidates who fail to obtain a certificate may attempt one retest on those
parts of the examination in which success was not achieved and the fee for
this exam will be SAR. 2,000.00.
Examination format:
Practical visual inspection of pipe to given acceptance levels (Time: 1 hr 45
mins)
Practical Questions on Inspection Technology based on practical experience
of candidates knowledge (10 questions, Time: 1 hr 20 mins)
Inspection of a macroscopic test piece (Time: 20 mins)
Registration:
Final confirmation of a place on the above exam will be on payment of the
exam fees. Bookings received without payment will be treated as
provisional, which does not guarantee a place.

Requirements:
Completed application forms, passport copy, copy of AWS certificate, copy
