communicating. This lesson plan module supports a number of learning areas in
the Australian Curriculum, including Health and Physical Education and
Technologies.
Progression Points covered: Progression Point 8.0 - 9.5
Learning Intention:
At the end of this lesson, students will be able to:
Analyse a threat to themselves on the internet. They will be given the tools and
strategies for identifying if they have been bullied on the internet. This lesson will
provide practical strategies to assist young people to deal with cyberbullying
behaviour and where to seek support. Identify ways to manage and prevent
cyberbullying behaviour.
Create a plan to act with resilience and self-awareness when online
Students need to have the tools and strategies to monitor learning patterns and
problem solving strategies. This provides a sound foundation for transforming
personal learning.

Watch the You Tube video titled "Let's fight it together" from Anti-Bullying week
Cyber Bullying Video.

EXPLORE:
The possibilities after the video. What do you think will happen next? What do
you think should happen next? Brainstorming ideas on what happened in the
video? Opinions of student groups. How do you think the video will end? How do
you think it should end if it happened at your school?

EXPLAIN:
Identify ways to manage and prevent cyberbullying behaviour.

What is Cyber Bullying? Is it the same as Bullying? Is it a crime? Why or why not?
"I Think I have been CyberBullied.... What do I do now??" Create a plan or
