Ask the class Is this true? Then elicit the question and short answer
for each sentence, e.g. Akemi, do you drink coffee? Yes, I do. / No, I
dont.

Students are going to guess some facts about different students in


the class.
Give each student a copy of the worksheet.
Students should read through the sentences on their own and
for each sentence they should choose a student that they think
it might be true for. They should write this persons name at the
beginning of the sentence, e.g. Marco loves football.
Give students ten minutes to read and complete the sentences.
Ask students to stand up and mingle. For each sentence they
should find the student they have named and ask them the
question, e.g., Marco, do you like football? Marco should answer
Yes, I do or No, I dont. They can then put a tick () or a cross
() next to the statement, depending on whether they guessed
correctly or not.

Put up the completed worksheets around the class and ask each
student to choose one student and write three sentences about
what that person does and doesnt do.
