White British people accounted for 52.3% of the population and the Black and Minority
Ethnic (BME) population is 47.7%.
The largest BME group is Black/Black British which makes up 19.1% of the total population,
of which 13.8% are Black African.
This is followed by Asian/Asian British with 11.7%, Mixed/Multiple Ethnic Groups with 4.8%
and Other Ethnic Group with 1.9% of the total Royal Borough population.
There are currently over 90 different languages spoken across the Royal Borough.
