asked if anyone can
define pollution then
they will be asked to
brainstorm a list of
ways they can
impact the
environment is a
positive way
(recycle, carpool).
The teacher will then
give her definition,
talk about pollution
and positive ways to
help the

environment and tell


them to listen
carefully throughout
the book.
Then the book will be
read to the students
having them
compare the
environments.
After the book is read, a
small group
discussion will be
conducted. A
question will be
handed to the
groups. Give about
5-10 minutes for
discussion, invite a
spokesperson from
each group to share
the question and the
groups responses.
