Meeting Minutes

Call to order at 1:05pm on September 14, 2015.

A meeting of the Grand Haven Croquet Board of Directors was held at 16 Grandview Drive on
September 14, 2015. Attendees included Cassandra Gaisor, Tony Dos Santos, Bill Todd, John
Fitterman, Antonia Marmo, George Betz. Participating via conference call Naomi Mass.

Approval of minutes
The Minutes of August 10, 2015 Board meeting were approved.

Reports
Treasurer Bill Todd Opening balance was $12,691.39 and closing balance is $12,377.39.

The Creekside Court is going through regular maintenance as well as some adjustments to the
lines, smoothness and height of the grass.
The Invitational Tournament it was agreed to offer "a la carte" choices for the various events.
Also, a Board Keepers Class will be held on October 9, 2015 as part of the regular Friday Clinic,
and will be open to all interested.
Plans are in place for the Club Championship on December 4th & 5th and the Christmas Party to
follow at Ginny Legge's house on Sunday December 6th.
The Play Day with Hammock Dunes will be on November 19th and will be a hi-lo format and
will include a catered lunch by Dominick's, poolside at the Tiki Bar.
The Board reviewed the time line for Handicap adjustments. Handicap adjustment are made
every three months (March, June, September & December). It was agreed that this would
continue but for the sake of the players, the adjustments needed to be published no later than
the 15th of the month reporting.
The Board voted to donate $100. For the USCA Hall of Fame Dinner in honor of Shereen Hayes.
Rookie Tournament Bill Todd to organize. He has 7 or 8 members interested.

Nominating Committee must consist of three members with one being a Board Member.
Naomi Mass, the Board Secretary has agreed to continue to serve on the committee.

Director's Reports
Membership John Fitterman currently 84 members.
Social Antonia Marmo working on menus for the Invitational, Club Championship,
Hammock Dunes Play Day and the Christmas Party.

There being no further business, a motion was made and seconded to adjourn the meeting at 2:05pm.
