University Liaison
Toreigh has just concluded a very successful teaching practicum at Crafers Primary School. Over the
four weeks of the practicum she has worked effectively to develop her skills and understandings in all
three domains of teaching .. Professional Knowledge, Practice and Engagement.
Throughout the practicum I have consulted with Toreighs mentor, Lynette Kaeding and School
Coordinator, John Nielsen and I am confident that this Report does provide evidence of Toreigh's
progress, development and achievements.
Toreigh has a calm, positive, professional manner. She has used this placement opportunity to reflect
on the complexities of teaching and now has a greater understanding of what a teacher has to do to be

successful.
Toreigh enjoys teaching and working with students. She relates well to them and they show a respect
for her. Students responded positively to Toreigh and it is evident that she has developed strong,
professional relationships.
To improve her skills as a developing teacher I have observed Toreigh focus on her time management,
transitioning from lesson to the next activity and student assessment.
She is working well as an emerging teacher and she clearly feels comfortable in this role.
Toreigh has joined in on staff meetings and training and development. She has taken the time to
understand the class, their learning needs and they have responded positively to her. She has joined in
with general school life.
I am delighted with Toreighs progress as a student teacher and I wish her all the best for her future
teaching career.
