I am writing to express my interest in the accounting position that has openings at the local office. I currently am
studying for an Accounting major. Kathy Bergum, an accountant within the Capital company, requested I apply
due to my qualifications and hard work ethic. For many years now I have been preparing to obtain a job and
further my studies in accounting. The best way for me to succeed is to have a cooperative team with a common
goal to strive for greatness and ultimately help out the clients.
I truly believe that my high school and college experiences have prepared me to work as an accountant in the
Management Division. It is through my education that will cause me to exceed expectations in the accounting
world. Additionally, I had an internship at Peter Smith, Capital where I assisted in various tasks. Through this job
training, I developed new skills and polished others. As an Accountants assistant, I managed credits and debits
and was the bookkeeper for our chapter. Moreover, I obtained a wealth of knowledge taught to me by experts
which provided me with invaluable experience. I furthered my understanding of accounting which solidified a
firm foundation.
I have a great interest in your company because of the success that is equated with the companys name. I am
aware of everything that is required of me to exceed in the field of accounting and I believe my internship along
with my hands on job training that I am able to contribute to such an outstanding Capital Company. Throughout
my entire life, I have tried to take the most challenging course work and activities to push me to become even
better and to reach new heights. My participation and commitment to the game of football has taught me many
life lessons including perseverance, teamwork, and dedication. By carrying those traits into the field of
accounting, I am confident that I can transfer what is done on a field to the office at the Management Division.
