Marketing is that invisible and undeniable force which propels a modern business

beyond mediocrity in a world where new ideas are like mushrooms. However,
marketing remains relatively underdeveloped and neglected, particularly in B2B
arena, where building a strong value proposition and providing the ultimate
customer experience is a must.
My attraction to the field of marketing started in my engineering days, when I was
first introduced to Kotlers writings (we had a marketing management course). I
found the subject highly dynamic and creativity-based. I took courses related to
marketing in XIMB till now Ive covered Basics of Marketing I, Basics of Marketing
II, Marketing Research, B2B Marketing and Sales & Distribution. Ive 5 more
marketing courses to cover in the remaining stint in XIMB.
I worked my summers in BFSI sector IDBI Federal Life Insurance Co. Ltd where I
conducted an exhaustive market search complete with primary field study in order
to understand consumers buying behavior towards IDBI products. Further, I also
formulated a sales strategy for the company in the Bhubaneswar region in order to
reduce operational complexities and increase reach and improve customer
experience.
Besides majoring in Marketing, Im also majoring in Systems hence my interest in
Adwalnut. I have covered the IT Strategy, Design & Implementation course which
included in-depth coverage on cloud computing and its various delivery models.
Therefore, I think that Im suitable for the Marketing aspect of Adwalnut which
includes Market analysis & developing Market Penetration Strategy.
