Enrichment Program Class Descriptions

(Not all classes offered at all locations or all semesters.)

Fine Arts
Children of Glory Choir ($45/month, once a week class)
Singing is a vital part of being a musician and a worshipper. In choir, children receive instruction in a fun setting where
relationships are an important part of the learning process. The class focuses on the vocal skills necessary to bring voices
into unity, making beautiful sounds and harmonies while singing from a heart focused on worship. Fundamentals of music
reading, music theory, and vocal techniques are also taught as a part of choir. Recommended for ages 6-12.
Drama ($45/month, once a week class)
Students are taught basic techniques of acting and voice production. All participants will learn how to speak to project
their voices with appropriate inflection, articulation, and tonal expression. Working together in love and unity is
emphasized as students discover how each role plays an important part of every production. (Productions are seasonal).
Character development is a very important part of drama and will be taught and reflected in the subject matter of our
productions. Recommended for ages 7-12.
Filmmaking: Intro and Advanced ($45/month, once a week class)
Intro: Basic instruction in videography techniques including shot angles, camera operations, editing footage, script writing,
and production. Advanced: Explore the art of filmmaking, editing, and script writing. Both classes will present completed
projects at the end of each semester. Recommended for 3rd grade+.
Praise Dance ($75/month, twice a week class)
Instruction in the creative art of praise dance, working together to learn movements which speak the word of God and
praise Him through dance. Recommended for Pre-K+.
Piano / Guitar Group Lessons ($55/month, once a week class)
Small group classes allow students multiple options as to the level of achievement and gives students the opportunity to
learn from each other as well as to participate in fun musical ensembles. Class times will be scheduled by the teacher
(grouping students of similar skill levels).
Piano / Strings / Guitar Individual Lessons ($85/month, once a week individual lesson)
Private instruction is designed for students who will practice 30 minutes a day, 5 days a week. In the once a week class,
students are given a solid musical foundation for success as a professional or non-professional musician. Classical
principles are taught that may easily be applied to other styles as well as instruments. Lesson times will be scheduled by
the teacher. Recommended for ages 7+.

Character and Development


Knights of the Fountain ($45/month, once a week class)
Knights of the Fountain combines medieval martial arts and spiritual training to raise and mature Men of God: men who
Delight in the Lord, Love Sacrificially, Serve with Joy, and Make War.
Princess Club and LovePowerteers ($45/month, once a week class)
A class specifically for girls centered around discipleship in application through Community Service, Biblical Teaching,
Artistic Expression, and Spiritual Maturity. Join the fun! Music, games, and much more. Princess Club recommended for
2nd-4th grade, LovePowerteers recommended for 5th-12th grade.
Missions Club ($25/month, once a week class)
Learn Scripture, study Bible stories, and sing songs as we learn about carrying out the Great Commission. Therefore go
and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and of the Holy Spirit and teaching
them to obey all I have taught you. And surely I am with you always to the very end of the age. (Matthew 28:19-20) For
all ages.

Koine (NT) Greek ($45/month, once a week class)


Recommended for 8th grade to adult.
Mandarin Chinese ($45/month, once a week class)
Basic Chinesereading, speaking and cultural studies. Recommended for 7th grade and up.
Tower Garden ($45/month for student, $25/month for parent, once a week class)
Learning about hydroponic gardening, whole-food nutrition, and overall health and wellness. Various activities about
stewarding out bodies as a temple of the Lord. Students will be able to plant, tend and harvest their own fruits and
vegetables. Recommended for all ages.
True Love Waits ($45/month, once a week class)
Class to discuss all the questions 7-12th graders always wanted to talk about regarding true love, moral purity, and
successfully battling against ungodly influences in boy-girl relationships.

Sports Activity
Gymnastics ($45/month, once a week class)
Gymnastics and tumbling in a positive environment to help build confidence. Recommended for K-5th.
Self Defense ($75/month, twice a week class)
Karate (American Tae Kwon Do) class to help students develop confidence and self-esteem as well as verbal and physical
self-defense techniques. The goal is to build capacityphysically, mentally, and spiritually. Recommended for 1stgrade +
and led by a 5th degree black belt in American Tae Kwon Do.
Soccer ($45/month, once a week class)
An elite soccer program to train players of all ages, led by former U.S. Olympian Steve Long.
