From Atomic Leaning I chose to know deeply about Wiki, so I wrote on

a search box Wiki and found many results one of them attacked me
called Pbwiki-wiki workshop. I open each tutorial and try this kind of
interactive website. Also. I searched about technology, and one of the
topic is Engaging Lessons Using Multimedia. The tutorials have very
great ideas, and websites help teachers to grab students' attention and
make them want to learn more. For example:

https://www.blendspace.com create active content

http://www.tubechop.com to cut the youtube.
https://www.thinglink.com to add video or text to image.
https://classflow.com to upload slice like PowerPoint then share it with
students. So they will have it as a note

From Atomic Leaning, I searched about Gamification. There is one topic

pop on which is Minecraft and Project-Based Learning. It is a program
student can design their won games and share it with other students to
learn new, but when I saw it is not free, and each student have to pay
to install that make me rethink to try it. Then I typed search about

media in the search box, and one of the topics that I interested on is
Using Evernote in Instruction. I enjoyed in all hour and a half that
explain and go deep in Evernote program. The best point on the
Evernote lessons is how to use and share it with students inside or
outside the classes.

I met with Mr. David Reges STAC Coordinate, Speaking about STAC
environment and their responsibility to assist students in their soft and
hard wear. Then we scheduled next meetings and what is fit for our
schedule. We look around in Camtasia program that record screen and
save to share it with other. Camtasia is similar to Quick time, but it is
more advance in the editor feature. Camtasia for PC version is better
and more advantage than in Mac. I saw some tutorials through Atomic
Learning it is easy and useful. Then I applied in STACs computer.

STAC has list of 20 tasks for the employee to check it before they can
assist other students, and this is what Ill train it during my intern:
1-

Scan.

Scanning pages and pictures using Adobe Acrobat and that the most
issue that students come to STAC for it. I noticed at least five students
each day come to ask for that.

2-

Final Cut

It is similar to iMovie but has more advantage like when recording

video using the Green Background FinalCut has a feature to change the
background to that is appropriate. Also, it has a feature to add blank
clip between two clips and replace it when the original clip be ready.
3-

Photoshop

I have a good experience with Photoshop, but I want to be up to date

and follow the new version, so STAC have the newest one, and I refresh
my knowledge with using it.
At the end of the day, I helped one student with scanning her pages.
That was easy and smoothly.

One of top 20 in STAC is Dreamweaver, which is one of the website

designer program. Mr. David and I took an overview of it. HTML
program is basic language to design the pages by Dreamweaver. Some
suggestion that Dreamweaver is a good starting to learn HTML
language. That because when we click on the image the coding will be
highlighted, so the programmer will notice where can start. Then we
login in Weebly and Mr. David explain how I can make a backup to my
website and send it to my email like a zipping file. We discussed and
tried to figure out how to convert PDF file to Word in Arabic file. PDF file

in English is easy to convert by Adobe Acrobat or PDF online website,

but in Arabic the letters show messy. We try many solutions, and Mr.
Dived was interesting to solve it.

Doing Newsletter in Word without using template has some difficulties,

like pictures changing place, and words have some space more than
normal. Mr. Dived and I tried to figure out ways to solve this problem
without using a template like drawing table without the line to make it
more organize. Also, STAC has a recording machine, and Mr. Dived
explained the recorder and how it work and where we can order it
online.

10:00a.m. - 3:00p.m.

STAC has a green background that help to record video then change
the background through iMovie or Finalcut. Mr. Dived and I discussed
creating video then use a program to change it. Some people prefer to
painting a wall with a green color than using the material because the
material has angles that appear when recording and editing. Also,
there is a lady with disability need help to create PowerPoint from the

first slide until how to save it to present it. Scanning is the first task
that students every day come to STAC asking for help.

This day is the last day in STAC. Mr. Dived signed the recommendation
letter and understanding memo. I thanked him for having me and
displayed all that knowledge and skills. I hope to move this unique
experience to my county.
