Introduction:
To focus the students attention I will use a PowerPoint to create a
visual for them to engage them. For motivation I will tell students
if they complete their work they will receive a treat.
Developing the Lesson:
1. I first will present a PowerPoint. I will explain what an
inference is by giving multiple examples.
2. I then will present the using inferences to write stories
worksheet. The students will complete this worksheet and
then hand it to a partner to complete the second half.
3. The partners will come together to see if they inferred
correctly.
4. I will then give the student the spot the inference
worksheet.
