Council Meeting
September 3, 2015
The meeting was called to order by Clerk Fodera at 7:15 PM, followed by roll-call:

Note: Councilpersons Linda Catalano, Oliver Kamm and Evan Anthony constituted a physical quorum
present and Councilpersons John and Sally Boisseau participated electronically

MINUTES:

Councilwoman Linda Catalano made a motion to approve the Minutes from the Council meeting held on
July 14, 2015. Councilman Oliver Kamm seconded the motion and the motion prevailed with all present
Council-members saying yes

FINANCIALS:

After reviewing the Financial Reports for July 2015 Councilman Oliver Kamm made the motion to
approve and file the reports for audit. The motion was seconded by Councilman Evan Anthony and
prevailed with all present Council-members saying yes
After reviewing the Financial Reports for Aug 2015 Councilwoman Linda Catalano made the motion to
approve and file the reports for audit. The motion was seconded by Councilman Evan Anthony and
prevailed with all present Council-members saying yes

Agenda Items:
PROPERTY ISSUES

Complaint was received about trees growing onto 21 Ct. Linda Catalano volunteered to contact
Wilton Manors to see if they would consider maintaining the trimming of those trees as they grow
very rapidly and require constant maintenance.
Complaint was received of trees originating from 2130 North Andrews Ave. Council will await
photos of area and then decide is a violation notice is in order.
Mayor White was asked again to tend to the tree on her property growing into the Lake. Mayor
White agreed to tend to the situation
Councilman Kamm was advised by Waste Management that only 32 gallon garbage pails could
be used as receptacles

New Business

Council again raised the issue of finding a new City Attorney. John Boisseau volunteered to inquire
through a friend in the legal profession and Linda Catalano agreed to call OIG to see if they had any
suggestions
Council Agreed to pay to repair cable that was cut to security camera. Oliver Kamm agreed to find a
repairperson and to reestablish the security camer
New compressor is needed for the end of Lazy Lane Lake aerators. Area also will reguires a de-weeding
to better supply aeration to the compressor
Council approved a $1000 donation to South Florida Wildlife Center

There bring no further business the meeting was adjourned at 7:30 PM
