Language Test: Our Language test will be on nouns and verbs. I have attached
a worksheet describing the 3 types of verbs and two types of nouns. Students
can practice identifying nouns on page 73 of their English book.
Reading Test: On Fridays students are given a reading assessment that covers
the story we have read and discussed in class. This is a 12-point quiz to begin with
and only amounts to a portion of their reading grade. Students are encouraged to
bring home their reading book on Thursday nights and read it aloud. It really
improves accuracy and fluency when children read aloud, even if it is to a pet or
stuffed animal J.
