AFFIDAVIT
I , Armando Tagaligtas Filipino, of legal age, married, and a member of the
Barangay Public Safety Office (BPSO) of Barangay Subangdaku, Mandaue after
having been duly sworn to in accordance with law hereby depose and state that:
At about 11:00pm in the evening of December 22, 2014, I was conducting a
foot patrol in the vicinity of Wireless near the flyover of Subangdaku, Mandaue
City.
I heard a scream for help within the vicinity and immediately rushed to
investigate. Upon pinpointing the exact location where the scream was coming
from, I entered the house of the Maria G. Bun-og and found her being beaten up by
a male individual who identified himself as Pedro G.A. Bun-og, the husband of the
victim of the beating.
As a consequence, I arrested Pedro G.A. Bun-og for violation of R.A. 9262.
I then apprised him of his constitutional rights in a language known to and
understood by him and brought him to Police Station 2 for proper disposition.
I then attened to the daughter, Juana who was clearly traumatized at the
event. I then helped provide first aid and assisted Mrs. Maria G. Bun-og and
brought her to the Mandaue City District Hospital for treatment of her injuries.
I am execute this affidavit to attest to the veracity of the foregoing statement
and in order to stand as the arresting officer in the filing of criminal cases for
violation of R.A.9262 and R.A.7610 against PEDRO G.A. BUN-OG.
