RESUMEN
Como todos sabemos el agua es indispensable para la supervivencia de todo ser
vivo en la tierra, este recurso es de origen natural y est distribuido de manera
desigual tanto en espacio como en tiempo. Se estima que en el planeta existen
cerca de 1400 millones de

km3

de agua donde solo 35 millones son de agua

dulce que equivale a un 2,5 % del agua total del planeta, dentro de este
porcentaje de agua dulce se encuentran los lagos, los glaciares, humedales, ros,
aguas subterrneas entre otros pero no todos son utilizables, las ms comunes
fuentes de agua dulce que es potable y suministrada al ser humano viene de los
manantiales naturales, agua lluvia almacenada, aguas subterrneas y aguas
superficiales.

ABSTRACT

As we all know water is essential to the survival of all living things on earth, this
resource is naturally occurring and is unevenly distributed both in space and time.
It is estimated that there are about 1400 million

km3

of water where only 35

million are freshwater equivalent to 2.5% of the total water on the planet, within this
percentage of fresh water on the planet are lakes, glaciers, wetlands, rivers,

groundwater and others but not all are used, the most common sources of fresh
water that is drinkable and provided humans comes from natural springs, stored
rainwater, groundwater and surface water.
