Program Highlights:

Ms. Kittler's presentation will focus on the very important contribution threat assessment professionals bring to the BCP
process as well as the essential support they are uniquely prepared to contribute, should a critical incident require
implementation of the BCP.
She will cover the vital elements of the BCP process, including; understanding risk as an aggregate of threat and
vulnerability, evaluation of risk mitigation strategies from a business perspective, the vital importance of BCP testing and the
basic support requirements for mission critical processes including; communication, protection of people and supply chain
management.

About the Speaker

In 2003, Marcia Kittler founded MK Business Solutions, Inc. to support organizations with key response and recovery
planning objectives. Her specialty is Business Continuity Planning. She has extensive experience in business operations,
project management, communications and information technology. She is a founding member of and currently serves as
Communications Director for the Association of Contingency Planners- Northern Illinois Chapter. She is a member of the
Lake-Cook Regional Critical Incident Partnership and serves on their membership committee. She is also an active member of
both the Association of Threat Assessment Professionals and ASIS-Chicago. A graduate of DePaul University, Ms. Kittler
participates in the University's “Alumni Sharing the Knowledge” program.
