To whom it may concern,
Erica Jaime was hired by Davis Design & Development as a design assistant to work on our building project, a new $10MM Mid
Century Estate in Brentwood CA. She assisted Robert Davis, the President with selecting sample finishes for the interior of the
house, a 12,000 square foot estate on approximately one acre on Crown Drive North of Sunset. Planning and construction of
this estate was originally projected to take 20 months. We are into the tenth month of our process and have just completed
the grading of the downslope lot.
Erica was hired in the beginning of this process, an incredible opportunity to experience each stage of building a high end
residential project of this scope. She was responsible for building and organizing our Crown project library which included all
design specs for the interior, Kitchen Appliances, Plumbing Fixtures, Electrical plan including cut sheets and fixture list as well
as bidding out doors and windows and hardware. She also organized our contracts with the project Architect, Civil Engineer,
Structural Engineer, Soils Engineer, Shoring Engineer and Electrical Engineer.
We also had Erica assist our permit expeditor (Consultant) at the Los Angeles Building & Safety Department to help coordinate
multiple meetings with separate plan checkers when submitting our original plan set to obtain our main building permit. She
also helped facilitate the Demolition permit on our behalf. Crown had an older existing home that we demolished as we
worked on the new building plan. Erica was responsible for coordination of the reclamation contracts to dismantle most of
the house prior to our main demolition of the old structure.
Ericas education focuss primarily on Interior Design. When we concluded our selection of all building materials the
Construction phase began. She was excellent in her follow through on all task items requested and kept a thorough agenda
and calendar to do all administrative work required of her. She worked well in a fast paced environment and gained vast
knowledge in working with difficult situations and personalities.
I would strongly recommend any interior design firm to hire Erica Jaime. I enjoyed working with her very much, always a great
attitude towards life and her work. Davis Design & Development would definitely rehire Erica for interior design in the future.
