She gave clear instructions and made sure that the students knew what the lesson objectives were. Car-Lea also questioned the students ‘about their prior knowledge of the content to make sure that every student knew what the lesson was about. Cari-lea has demonstrated that she is beginning to effectively develop her instructional skil, by motivating ‘and maintaining interest ‘Cari-Lea was clear in her expectations about student behaviour and responded appropriately to classroom disruptions using the school behaviour management program by waming students and then following through if students were off task. RECOMMENDATIONS: Ca?-Lea | recommand that you could have read out all the statements in the activity before you let the students work on their own, this would make sure that students were all able to access the reading material | would algo recommend that you don't tolerate any students calling out ‘Make sura that you make it clear at the beginning of your lesson that you will not allow any silly ‘behaviour and that there will be consequences for their behaviour. ‘Make sure that you are constantly walking around the classroom while students are busy with ‘an activity to make sure that there aren't any students off task OVERALL IMPRESSIONS: Well done on a great lesson. The students were all fcused and actively involved in your activity. Great postive feed back and encouragement that you offered to the students.
