Exercise 6.11

Subject: Status of Building Renovations

The renovation of the lobby is finished as scheduled. The west end
of the lobby will be ready to offer you a more pleasant experience
by Monday, October 9, with limited traffic.
The final phase of the renovation will be placing a new marble
floor in front of the elevators. However, you will have to wait until
the end of the month to enjoy this decoration.
The normal business will not be disrupted by any kinds of activity
as most of the work is scheduled in the evenings to ensure your
convenience.
You are kindly requested to exercise caution when moving through
the construction area. The floor will be uneven and steps will be at
unusual heights. It is important for you to be careful while
stepping in the area to avoid accidental tripping or falling.

Subject: Status of College Internship Program

Congratulations! You have made great progress on the college
internship program for the company. The program will be finished
soon and you are truly appreciated for the great work.
The draft for the program planning and a proposed budget for the
program has been made, several HR managers at comparable
companies has been contacted as well to find out about their
programs.
We will always assist you with anything. Although an accidental
mistake were done when informing the State University about the
program, but it has been sorted and they had been informed that
the program would begin in 2008. Thus, there is nothing serious to
worry about.
