Recognize that letters make words and can identify some letters and sounds of the alphabet.
Join in with rhyming and rhythmic activities and generates some words that rhyme
Writing:
Attempt writing for a variety of purposes and ascribes meaning to marks
Dictate and draw to explain information/stories/ideas
Listening & Speaking:
Listen attentively and responds to what is heard in small and large group
Recognize the difference between a comment and a question.
Retell important events and details of their experiences and stories.
