Oral Oncology and the Effects of Tumor Growth on the Human Body
Cancer is an increasingly common ailment, but that does not imply that it is any less serious or
dangerous. It is a disease of utmost importance is resulting in global fatalities, with no absolute cure
available. It is a disease it an exceptionally high survival rate, with only roughly 50% percent of victims
predicted to survive more than 10 years after diagnosis, with virtually all body tissue susceptible to tumor
growth. However, pioneering research in the burgeoning cancer research field has created innovative new
treatments for a wide range of cancer types, ranging from regenerative medicine to chemical and drug
treatment. One of the most serious branches of cancer takes the form of oral and dental cancer, affecting
the larynx, the lip, the oral cavity, the pharynx, the neck, and other periphery. The individuals responsible
for the treatment and the revival of suffering cancer patients require specialized training in one of the
most difficult professions. These oncologists apply those techniques developed by researchers to real
patients in hopes of being able to cure those patients.
