particularly interested about the project you have done but more important is the
role you played in the project( may be client engagement / got an appreciation
letter / Wall of Fame etc etc ) ... Know your resume thoroughly... ITS
IMPERATIVE......

Telephonic: - The Candidate has 5 year experience in

SAP and the role was that of a business consultant in HP
consulting...
1. Walk me through your resume?
2. Can you please tell me what did you do in the project XXX( This was a
project which the candidate was a part of in his initial career , a 3 years
old project) ?
3. Can you tell me, what exactly was the business process you implemented
for the client XXXXX?
4. What were your roles and responsibilities in the project XXX as far as client
interaction is concerned??

Face to Face Interview - Calcutta

1. The interviewed questioned about EACH AND EVERY thing in the
resume down a particular word (The candidate had mentioned a word
Warranty Processing, the first question the interviewer asked was Can
you tell me the warranty process in an automobile company?
2. Starting from the first project of the career till the latest one Each business
process was questioned and grilled
3. How will you calculate the ROI of the project you did for customer XXXXX
4. What was the major challenges you faced while working for an Indian
Client ( The candidate had worked with a domestic Client )
5. What are the current trends in the domain of SAP CRM?
6. What is the market share of SAP in the ERP and CRM market
7. Do you consider yourself as a Techno functional consultant or a technical
consultant Justify ?
8. Why HP , why MBA after 5 years , what value addition has this MBA program
from XLRI done for you ?
Be very clear about your resume and revise every project you had done
(at least in the past 4-5 years) .... You are expected to know each and
every thing mentioned in your resume ...

Be aware of the latest in your domain ( be it automobile, CRM , SCM,

BFSI , Retail ..) this is very essential .. this differentiates you from other
candidate ...have an opinion about whats happening in your domain
with a logical reasoning and explanation.
