The calendar was purposely designed to include 187 and 197 days in the school year for students and staff in order to include 7 days for inclement weather. The final number
of days for students and teaching staff will not exceed 180 or 190, respectively.
The Board of Education reserves the right to alter the calendar if more than 7 days are used for inclement weather and/or emergency closings. Additional make-up days could
include, but not be limited to, February 15, March 28, March 21, March 22.
