Meeting Minutes

Call to order at 1:00pm on July 6, 2015.

A meeting of the Grand Haven Croquet Board of Directors was held at Creekside on July 6, 2015.
Attendees included Cassandra Gaisor, Tony Dos Santos, Naomi Mass, John Fitterman, Bill Todd,
Antonia Marmo. Member not in attendance George Betz

Approval of minutes
The Minutes of the June 8, 2015 Board meeting were approved.

Reports
Treasurer - Bill Todd - Opening balance (May 2015) was $12,946.00 & closing balance is $12,901.34.
President - Cassandra Gaisor

The progress of the Creekside renovation was discussed - it's progressing on schedule with a
proposed reopening on 7/25/2015.
A ceremony will take place at the Creekside opening and will be attended by both the CDD and
the Operations Manager. There will be a complimentary beverage to those attending the opening
ceremony. Tickets will be handed out for the Tiki Bar.
The Monday games for the higher handicaper's have been successful and will continue.
When the new member class starts in the fall, the instructors will be Rich Burns, Carol Burns &
John Fitterman.
The Invitational Tournament Committee has been meeting and plans are moving along on
schedule.
The Handicap Committee sent the latest new handicaps in to the USCA on 6/30/15.
Tony Dos Santos is stepping in for George Betz on the Tournament Committee until George
recovers from his recent surgery. Tony is currently working on the format for the Club
Championship, scheduled for December 2015. An e-mail blast will be sent out shortly to
ascertain interest in club member's participation.
A Rookie tournament is planned for 11/9/15 and will be coordinated by Bill Todd.
Play Day with Hammock Dunes at Grand Haven will be on 11/19/15. Details to Club members
will follow shortly.
Wednesday Shot Making Clinic will begin on 8/5/15 and the Friday Strategy Clinic will begin on
8/7/15.
Bob Carlson is stepping down as Club Photographer and is being replaced by Daniele Todd and
Paul Beaulieu as co-Club Photographers.

Vice President - Tony Dos Santos - only activity was from the Sunshine Committee. A get well card was
sent to George Betz.
Director's Reports:
Membership - John Fitterman - Total membership is 85. New members class will start on 9/21/15,
Social - Antonia Marmo - A complimentary drink will be available to those attending the Creekside
Court opening on 7/25/15.

There being no further business, a motions was made and seconded to adjourn the meeting at 2:00pm.
