WEEKLY CHECKLIST
1. ORAL PRACTICE
Meet with Khmer tutor or language exchange partner
Use Khmer greetings for daily language transactions
Listen to Khmer songs/karaoke on television
Repeat new words at home each morning
Spend a few minutes asking a fluent speaker at work to pronounce everyday words

2. READING AND WRITING

Learn one set of content words
Use a notebook to record new vocabulary
Practice my Khmer Word of the Day
Look at Khmer signs to try to recognise letters
Practice writing one letter for 10 minutes

3. RESOURCES
View Khmer 440 Khmer Language forum at least once per week
Spend 10 minutes looking at THEBODIA website
Pick 5 words/phrases of interest from my phrasebook
Print a weekly copy of this checklist and fill it out on Sunday

4. REVIEW
Celebrate past performances look at last weeks vocabulary
Write a quick list of letters and compare them to how they should look note ones that need extra
practice
