FACT:
Inefficient and questionable rehabilitation
and recovery efforts under the Aquino
administration
The Aquino administration approved a
total of PHP 200 billion for Yolanda
rehabilitation;
P168 billion from GAA
PHP 24 billion from Supplemental
Budget for CY 2013 and CY
PHP 7.23 transfers by from the MPBF
and the Pension and Gratuity Fund to
DSWD, NDRRMF and Contingent Fund

What happened?

Only 2000 of the targeted 120,000


permanent housing were constructed
in Eastern Visayas, admitted NHA.
This despite the 8 billion allocation
for NHA;
As of 2014, Roughly 2,000 families
remain in the bunkhouses. (DSWD
