Assisted the Employee Wellness Coordinator in providing health and wellness services to
over 1,400 Weber State Employees. Primary duties included conducting health promotion
screenings (cholesterol, blood pressure, and body composition), conducting fitness tests,
and managing online Health Risk Assessment program. Educated university employees on
a variety of different health topics by conducting group Lunch and Learn presentations.
Additionally, marketed and encouraged participation in the Employee Wellness Program by
updating Employee Wellness website and social media sites with information on upcoming
events. Responded to emails in a timely and professional manner and was responsible for a
variety of other administrative duties within the office. Finally, supervised the Health
Promotion and Human Performance Program student interns to ensure the safety of all
activities carried out by the students.

Provided administrative support for seven different clinics within the 75th Medical Group by
scheduling patient appointment. Additionally, clearly communicated patient needs and
requests with the nursing staff by entering telephone consults in the electronic records
system. Monitored medical email in-boxes and ensured inquiries were addressed in a timely
manner. Enabled patients to receive proper medical care by quickly and efficiently by
scheduling appointments within a certain time frame based on patients complaints.
AEROSPACE MEDICAL SERVICE TECHNICIAN U.S. AIR FORCE
JULY 2008- JULY 2012

Observed and documented patient status and reported patient complaints to the case
manager. Additionally, read and recorded temperature, pulse and respiration. Was in charge
of support duties for diagnostic and technical treatment procedures, such as setting up and
operating special medical equipment and apparatus as well as provided administrative
support for two different physicians. All of these tasks were executed in a way that
contributed to the Family Practice Clinic winning USAF Outstanding Patient Centered
Medical Home Award in 2011.
